Our story began on a bike, where long days of cycling adventures would lead to leisurely evenings of good wine, food and hospitality. When Gary Erickson and Kit Crawford first started Clif Bar & Company, the focus was on making great tasting energy bars for any adventure. Clif Family was built on that same passion for creating delicious, small batch foods while caring for our people, planet and communities.

Visit us at our Napa Valley Tasting Room, enjoy lunch from our Bruschetteria Food Truck, join us on a cycling adventure or enjoy our wine and artisan food products from afar. Sharing our love for wine, food and adventure with you, are at the heart of what we do.

From The Farm

Our mission is to craft unique, regional wine and foods using practices that care for the earth; to support growers who use sustainable, organic farming methods; and to contribute to a more vibrant and healthy food community.

From the Kitchen

We craft artisan foods for indulgent snacking, entertaining, gift giving or enjoying in your favorite recipes. Our Executive Chef John McConnell works with our winemaker to develop recipes that pair with our wines.

From the Vineyard

The best wines begin with careful viticulture. At Clif Family we keep a keen eye on our vineyards, ensuring their health and sustainability, and we make our wines with minimal intervention for a true expression of the grape’s character.
