Say goodbye to plain, lackluster, canned cranberry sauce. Not only does this homemade cranberry sauce boast a delightful blend of sweet and tart flavors, but it also adds a touch of elegance to your Thanksgiving table. The vibrant magenta hue of the Hibiscus Honey Cranberry Sauce beautifully complements the autumnal colors of your spread, creating an inviting and festive ambiance.
At Clif Family, we believe in creating remarkable flavors using sustainable methods. Our Solar Grown™ Honey with Desert Hibiscus is not only a delicious natural sweetener but also a testament to our commitment to solar energy and pollinators. Harvested from hives located underneath solar panel arrays surrounded by pollinator-friendly habitat, this unique honey is then blended with bright and floral Desert Hibiscus powder.
With the sweet tanginess of cranberries and the delicate floral notes of our Solar Grown Hibiscus Honey, this sauce is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
Hibiscus Honey Cranberry Sauce
Recipe by the Clif Family Culinary Team
Yield: 2 cups – 6-8 servings
Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized stainless steel mixing bowl.
Cover tightly with cling wrap and place the mixing bowl over a pot of boiling water and double-boil for 2 – 2.5 hours. Gently remove a corner of the cling wrap and stir/gently mash every 20-30 minutes, helping some of the cranberries to break down while keeping some whole. Replace cling wrap and continue to cook.
Remove the whole allspice berry, cool, and serve.
