At Clif Family we love the holidays! It’s the season to cook, entertain and be merry. Our Chef and team have been busy in the kitchen developing and creating festive recipes using Clif Family’s food products that celebrate the holidays. We have you covered with everything from dazzling cocktails to delightful cheese boards, to satisfying baked goods and scrumptious desserts.
But one of our favorite and easiest holiday appetizers was introduced to us by our friends at Cowgirl Creamery. Cowgirl crafts beautiful cheeses and many of their products dot our culinary offerings from our Food Truck and curated pairings at our Enoteca Private Tasting Salon.
Hot Tam! Who knew how easy deliciousness could be.
Hot Tam Appetizer
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 375° F
Place the Mt. Tam in a cookware safe dish like a terra cotta cazuela or a ramekin. Place in oven and heat for 5 minutes or long enough that the cheese is soft and melted slightly internally for a gooey texture.
Serve the dish straight from the oven (remember a hot pad for your table) or transfer to a serving platter. Drizzle the Clif Family Solar Grown Hot Honey over the dish or serve with the jar of honey next to the cheese so guests can drizzle for themselves. Scoop up with the crunchy Rustic Bakery Olive Oil and Sel Gris Flatbread and enjoy!
