Makes 1 cocktail
INGREDIENTS
Cinnamon Honey Syrup:
1 jar Clif Family Solar Grown™ Cinnamon Honey Spread
7 oz of water
Cocktail:
3 oz brewed iced tea (black tea preferable but green tea works too)
2 oz spiced Rum (Captain Morgan)
¾ oz cinnamon honey syrup
½ oz lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Ice
Garnish: Lemon twist, wedge or slice
DIRECTIONS:
Cinnamon Honey Syrup:
In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine 1 full jar of Clif Family Solar Grown™ Cinnamon Honey Spread and 7 oz of water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1-2 minutes or until honey has completely dissolved. Remove from heat and skim off any foam that may have developed. Allow to cool completely. Store in an airtight, squeeze bottle for up to two weeks in the refrigerator.
Cocktail:
In a cocktail shaker, fill 2/3 full of ice. Add all ingredients except garnish and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled a lowball cocktail glass with ice. Garnish with a lemon twist, wedge or slice.
