Sesame Fried Green Beans with Solar Grown™ Hot Honey

Yield: Serves 4
1 lb green beans, trimmed
2 Tbsp cooking oil (grapeseed or other neutral cooking oil), split
½ tsp salt
2 tsp chopped garlic
2 tsp chopped ginger
2 Tbsp Clif Family Solar Grown™ Hot Honey
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1-1/2 tsp soy sauce or tamari
½ cup thinly sliced scallions
1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Prepare the green beans by trimming the stems off.
Heat a wok or large skillet with 1 Tbsp cooking oil until almost smoking, add the green beans and ½ tsp salt and sear over high heat for about 30 seconds until lightly blistered. Remove from the wok and set aside.
Add remaining cooking oil to the wok along with the garlic and ginger, lightly toast. Return green beans to the wok and stir fry over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
Add sesame oil, soy sauce and Clif Family Solar Grown™ Hot Honey. Toss to coat thoroughly. Transfer to a plate and garnish with thinly sliced scallions and toasted sesame seeds. Serve warm.
