Clif Family Friends,
It has been a challenging week, to say the least. A big thank you and virtual
hug to everyone who has reached out and offered support – your love of Clif
Family is appreciated so very much.
We are happy to report that our team members, their families, and their homes are all safe. We are also happy and relieved to report that while the fire burned through portions of the Clif Family Farm, our orchards, vineyards, gardens, and buildings are all intact.
Unfortunately, we are extremely saddened to report that one of the wineries where we make our wines was extensively damaged. The winery is located on the Silverado Trail in Calistoga and many of the buildings that held our recent harvest were damaged. The good news is that most of our wine is located at other locations that were not in the fire areas.
While our community is hurting, we are strong and we are committed to getting through this together. How many times can we thank the firefighters, first responders, and people who have been working tirelessly to save NapaValley? We will keep saying it, thank you!
Our St. Helena Tasting Room is fine and as soon as the skies clear, we are looking forward to welcoming you and sharing a glass of wine. If you are looking for ways to support the community, there are many organizations including the Napa Valley Community Foundation and Napa County Farm Bureau that are offering support for those who have lost their homes. Clif Family is working with the Napa County Farm Bureau to distribute food and Clif Bars to evacuees. And the best way to support our local wineries is to purchase our Napa Valley wine and raise a glass with us. #NapaStrong
We look forward to seeing you soon!
